A house for the rainy Waikato!

A simple single storey house (on our flattest site yet) for our client to retire into. The long roof spans over the garage, guest rooms, decks and the house proper, creating a variety of spaces that can be used whatever the weather. The main living quarters are separated from guest accommodations, allowing an efficient one bedroom house to expand when friends and family come to stay.

A consistent rhythm of glazing to solid wall allows details to be repeated and construction to be simplified. This simple form is wrapped in a rainbow of coloursteel.
