A Pinch and a Punch

431

Sitting high above Wellington’s Lyall Bay amongst existing fruit trees, this scheme was for a family home and working studio.

The plan has a pinched waistline to generate eaves and protection from the sun, while punched out voids offer volume and provide light.

Coloured panels alternate with large window openings, framing the surrounding greenery and sea views.
