Houghton Bay House

This family home, located in a small subdivision on Wellington’s South Coast, is made up of three distinct forms. These wrap around the site, navigating the steep topography, and a create a private, sheltered outdoor space.

Window placements are carefully considered to allow for light, sun and the amazing views, whilst maintaining privacy from neighbouring properties.

Inside, robust plywood linings, and bold coloured cabinetry creates warm and inviting spaces to live in.
